In 2024, as a globally leading cloud-based hospitality technology solutions provider, we have solidified our position as a forerunner in the domain. With some of our notable achievements, we not only kept up with the rapidly evolving industry trends and hoteliers' needs but led them. In 2024, we made remarkable progress in empowering hotels to excel in a fiercely competitive environment, revolutionizing how they operate efficiently to drive overall growth.
Let's look at how 2024 was for us.
Infrastructure and Platform Upgrades
Expanding to Newer Markets
More travelers are now booking hotel rooms by the hour for flexibility and affordability. The hourly booking market, valued at $16.67 billion in 2019, is projected to reach $25.62 billion by 2027. It led us to introduce an Hourly Booking module to help an increasing number of hotels to capitalize on this growing trend for enhanced revenue. Additionally, we also enhanced our solution's capability by adding a Shared Inventory feature to enable hotels to sell the same physical room under multiple layouts. With these enhancements, we aim to tap into newer market segments where hospitality properties are increasingly looking at boosting occupancy and revenue, positioning them at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry where guest choice is paramount.
Hotelogix is now compliant with Shomoos. It expands our market reach, effectively addressing the Saudi Arabian hospitality sector by assisting hotels to automate the process of sharing guest information with authorities. We also implemented e-invoicing through a Virtual Fiscal Device vendor, enabling hotels to issue digital tax documents in accordance with Tanzania Revenue Authority guidelines. This initiative allows us to penetrate the Tanzanian hotel market.
Consolidating Market Position
Our solution gained widespread adoption across diverse regions, including Southeast Asia, South Asia, the USA, and South America. We became the leading PMS provider in the Philippines by adding the Global Comfort Group Corporation (GCGC), a growing group with 60 properties comprising more than 8,000 rooms. In 2024, growing hotel groups like Royal Orchid Hotel Limited, Suba Group of Hotels, and The Clarks Hotels & Resorts in India joined the Hotelogix family, further cementing our status as a leader in the industry.
Expanding Integrations With Third-Party Solutions
Hotelogix continues to enhance its PMS by integrating with premier third-party solutions such as Sabre Synxis, Profitrooms, Lybra, and BookingWhizz. etc. These integrations enable hotels to enhance operations, optimize distribution and reservation processes, increase direct sales, and improve revenue management capabilities. By leveraging such collaborations with hosts of best-in-class solutions, we ensure our clients have access to the right tools and resources, making it easier to manage their properties effectively across departments.
Support Services That Make a Difference
In 2024, like in previous years, we emerged as a clear winner in this segment - customer support. In the Capterra review rating, we scored 4.5 out 5, with hundreds of clients speaking highly about our support services. But we didn't stop there. We tweaked our support process by focusing on carefully curated region-specific cultures and critical customer service techniques to make it even better and more effective. By equipping our team with the right knowledge and necessary soft skills, we ensure that our clients' concerns are addressed promptly, most importantly, empathetically.
Emerging as a Thought Leader
In 2024, we hosted the first-ever event for India’s mid-segment hotel brands, promoting collaboration within the industry. Subsequently, we released a comprehensive white paper outlining opportunities and challenges for these brands which received positive feedback from industry leaders. We also organized the Hotel Tech Drive in Boracay and Cebu, Philippines, highlighting how the right technology can diversify market dependencies and reduce overreliance on China's outbound travel.
We hosted several impactful online events, including a webinar featuring Alan Arrigo, the Co-CEO of Malta-based Robert Arrigo & Sons Limited. In this session, Alan shared valuable insights on how to get maximum occupancy with minimum reliance on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). We also successfully participated in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, alongside ExploreTech, the first digital marketplace catering to the hospitality sectors of the Middle East and Africa.
To further our commitment to the industry, we collaborated closely with several hotel management institutes in India and abroad. Our goal was to equip future hoteliers with essential knowledge and skills related to Hotel PMS, ultimately enhancing their employability upon graduation.
Looking Ahead: Plans for 2025
We will concentrate on leveraging AI to help hotels of all sizes enhance their business outcomes. Additionally, we will roll out several exciting and power-packed initiatives related to product improvements and marketing strategies. These efforts aim to solidify our position as a global leader while growing our user base by 100%.
Our milestones in 2024 reflect our steadfast dedication to the hospitality industry. As we enter 2025, we aim to lead the transformation, empowering hotels to drive unmatched growth through cloud solutions.
